Some more pictures of our time at the Palapa Bar and Grill.
So Thursday morning and afternoon were spent at the “Palapa Bar”. This awesome little establishment is right on the beach over open water and has tubes you can sit on while you cool off in the water. It’s a very laid back place and we enjoyed our time out with some other guests from the hotel. My favorite part though had to be a specialty drink they had called the Bananango. I took a picture of the ingredient list so hopefully I’m bringing it back to Dallas!
We had dinner with some new friends we made on the trip - Heather and David. We decided to try a nice restaurant near the hotel called Hidden Treasure, they even had shuttle service to and from our hotel. I ordered the Pineapple Chicken which was delicious and Fer had a curry chicken which was also very good. It was probably one of the best meals of the trip!
So on our way back into town our driver stopped by the local rum bottling factory where they also have a small museum and tasting center! It was a good end to the long tour day ;)
